A great overview, an instant collection of 25 different issues.
The early 1990s comics explosion that produced multi million copy sales of Jim Lee's multi cover #1 and Todd McFarlane's Spiderman #1 and a few years later culminated in the hugely successful (?) death of Superman (issue #75), also spawned (so to speak) two very successful comic companies: IMAGE and Valiant. IMAGE, founded by a group of Marvel creators striking out on their own by developing comics that were/are production and art driven!
(Valiant - spearheaded by writer and former Marvel editor in chief Jim Shooter - was story driven)
